The return journey used to come to Gopal Mandir from Kamari Marg itself. It started bringing it from Tanki Chowk to Chhatri Chowk to Gopal Mandir. 700 police personnel and 350 volunteers are handling the ride arrangements
Superintendent of Police Sachin Sharma said that adequate arrangements have been made at all the points from the point of view of security so that the local people and devotees do not face any inconvenience. More than 500 CCTV cameras have been installed in Mahakal Mandir and Shri Mahakal Lok by Smart City at a cost of ten crore rupees. Apart from this, artificial intelligence has also been used. 250 CCTV cameras have been installed in the temple committee Mahakal complex, Harsiddhi temple area ride route. Apart from this, 511 CCTV cameras have also been installed at 108 police stations. Through these also, monitoring is being done from the police control room.

Before the start of the ride, Shri Manmahesh Swaroop of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar was duly worshiped by the government priest Pandit Ghanshyam Sharma in the assembly hall of the Mahakal temple, after which Lord Shri Manmahesh sat in a palanquin and went on a city tour.

Guard of Honor to Mahakal
Baba Mahakal was enthroned in a silver palanquin after worshiping the Manmahesh form of Baba Mahakal in the assembly hall of the Mahakaleshwar temple. After this the ride started with the announcement of Jai Mahakal. As soon as the ride passed through the temple premises, it reached the main gate of the temple. Similarly, guard of honor was given to Lord Shri Mahesh by the Armed Police Force personnel. This tradition of saluting Baba Mahakal has been going on for years.

After special worship and aarti of God, Baba Mahakal’s Manmahesh Swarup was enshrined in a silver palanquin. After which the first ride of Baba Mahakal started.

After the doors of the temple opened at 2:30 pm on the first Monday of the month of Shravan in Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, the priests and priests performed Bhasma Aarti by anointing Lord Mahakal with cannabis and dry fruits. After having darshan of Baba Mahakal in Bhasma Aarti, devotees were seen saying that on the first Monday of the month of Shravan, our lives were blessed by having darshan of Baba Mahakal. We wanted to see Baba Mahakal but we had never thought that Baba Mahakal would give us darshan in this way. Today it looks like one of our biggest dreams has come true.

The Lord’s ride will leave the temple at its traditional scheduled time at 4 pm. At the main gate of the temple, a guard of honor will be given to Lord Shri Manmahesh by the soldiers of the armed police force. The palanquin will reach Ramghat via Mahakal Road, Gudri Chauraha, Bakshi Bazar and Kaharwadi. Where God will be anointed and worshiped with the water of Shipra river. After this, the ride will pass through Ramanujkot, Modh’s Dharamshala, Kartik Chowk, Khati Ka Mandir, Satyanarayan Mandir, Dhaba Road, Tanki Chauraha, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazar, Gudri Bazar and again reach Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple.
