Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Warangal in Telangana today. He offered prayers at the Bhadrakali temple after reaching Warangal in Telangana in the morning. He then laid the foundation stone for infrastructure development projects worth about Rs 6,100 crore for the state. After participating in the programmes, PM Modi will address a public meeting. This is PM Modi’s third visit to the poll-bound state of Telangana this year. Earlier, he had also visited Telangana in January-April.

Which projects were handed over to Telangana?

PM laid the foundation stone of Kazipet, a railway wagon manufacturing unit to be developed at a cost of over Rs 500 crore in Telangana. Meanwhile, Telangana Police has made elaborate security arrangements for PM Modi’s public meeting in Warangal. Warangal Police Commissioner AV Ranganath said, more than 3500 police personnel have been deployed for security arrangements.
