Veteran cricketer Virat Kohli has once again surprised the cricket fans with his decision. He has decided to resign from the captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This information was given by RCB by tweeting on Sunday.

Kohli said, ‘This will be my last IPL as the captain of RCB. I will remain a RCB player till I play my last IPL match. I thank all the RCB fans for believing in me and supporting me.

Virat Kohli further said, ‘It has been a wonderful and inspiring journey to captain RCB full of talented players. I would like to take this opportunity to thank RCB. The management, coaches, support staff, players and the entire RCB family have played an important role over the years. It was not an easy decision. RCB is close to my heart as we continue to strive for excellence.
