Meteorological Department issued Orange Alert
The Meteorological Department estimates that the people of Delhi-NCR are not expected to get relief from the rain. Heavy rain is expected even today. The department has issued Orange Alert for today.

Moderate to heavy rain continued in many parts of Delhi-NCR since Sunday morning. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a tweet on Sunday morning that light to moderate rain and thundershowers would occur at isolated places in Delhi and adjoining areas.

The process of rain continues in Delhi-NCR. There are thick clouds in the sky. It’s like a dark shadow. The torrential rains that lashed Delhi yesterday broke the record of the last 20 years. 126.1 mm of rain was recorded from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Saturday. Delhi’s mercury remained eight degrees Celsius below normal due to just nine hours of rain.
